With the installation of a BLS 150 under-table saw, HECHT AG has decisively modernized the cutting process for coated components at Burgbad. The system operates completely autonomously, enabling the automatic cutting of all required parts on an order-by-order basis.<\/p>

The operator initiates the cutting cycle simply by scanning the production order. All associated positions are then clearly listed. After the raw strip is loaded, the saw automatically cuts the order-specific components. Today, the cutting process is automated\u2014without replacing the employee. Their task now consists of starting the cut by scanning the order and placing the raw strips onto the Exenso Comfort length stop in pusher mode. The cut parts are then fitted with a barcode label, automatically identified on the outfeed side, and picked according to the layout for the fully automatic drawer assembly line.<\/p>

With this investment, Burgbad has been able to significantly streamline workflows in bathroom furniture production.
